PNA cabinet remains in emergency till Gaza pullout: Qurei

    GAZA, June 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureisaid here on Tuesday that his cabinet will remain in a state ofemergency till Israel completes its Gaza pullout.

    Following a weekly cabinet meeting, Qurei told reporters thatall ministers of the cabinet will be in a state of emergency tillIsrael finalizes its unilateral withdrawal from the Gaza Strip andpart of northern West Bank due in mid-August.

    "The cabinet decided that all its ministers will be staying forthree days in Gaza and one day in the northern West Bank city ofJenin, and it decided to be in a state of emergency till thewithdrawal is finalized," said Qurei.

    He said the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) does not wantto give any excuse to any party to affect the process of theIsraeli withdrawal.

    "We do not want any excuse to anybody to hold the Palestinianleadership responsible and we will carry out our duties to achievea smooth, quiet and organized withdrawal," he said.

    He said besides the Gaza pullout, the cabinet discussed ways toend chaos and security deterioration. Enditem
