WASHINGTON, June 27 (Xinhuanet) -- US President George W. Bush said on Monday that the United States will continue to work with Britain, Germany and France to send a unified message to Iran that the development of nuclear weapons is unacceptable.

    "My message is to the chancellor is that we continue working with Great Britain, France and Germany to send a focused, concerted, unified message that says the development of a nuclear weapon is unacceptable and a process which would enable Iran to develop a nuclear weapon is unacceptable," Bush said as he met with visiting German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.

    Germany, France and Britain have offered Iran economic concessions if Tehran permanently halts all uranium-enrichment activities.

    The United States alleges Iran's enrichment program is aimed atbuilding atomic weapons. Iran says its program is for peaceful purposes. Enditem
