BEIJING, June 27 -- The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited Zhang Ziyi to join their membership. This means she will be able to vote for the Oscars next year.

    A total of 112 celebrities and stars were invited to the Oscar jury for next year, including this year's Oscar best actor Jamie Foxx, "The Sea Inside" director Alejandro Amenabar, "Sideways" actor Thomas Haden Church, "Closer" star Clive Owen and French star Jean Reno.

    A welcome reception will be held on September 21st by the Academy and Zhang Ziyi is the first Chinese star to be listed on the jury for the Oscars.Enditem
