Exit polls show Socialist party leads in Bulgaria's parliamentary elections

  ĦĦSOFIA, June 25 (Xinhuanet) -- The opposition Socialist Party was leading in Saturday's parliamentary elections but fell short of winning a majority, early projections showed.

    According to exit polls conducted by the local Gallup International affiliate, the Socialists had 31.1 percent of the vote, while some 21.7 percent supported the party of incumbent Prime Minister Simeon Saxcoburggotski. Enditem
