Foreign teams to supervise Israeli withdrawal

    GAZA, June 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Several foreign security teams are expected to arrive by the end of June in the Palestinian territories to supervise the planned Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and the northern West Bank, a Palestinian magazine reported Wednesday.

    The Gaza-based al Mannar magazine quoted a high-ranking Palestinian security official as saying that the security teams from Jordan, Egypt, the United States and Britain would set up a joint operation room to ensure a successful pullout due to begin inmid August.

    The teams will remain in the area till the completion of the pullout of all settlers and troops who protect them in Gaza and four settlements in northern West Bank. Enditem
