LONDON, June 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Tight security has been put in place in Sheffield, northern England, Wednesday as justice ministers from the world's eight wealthiest countries arrive in the city for a meeting in the run-up to the Group of Eight (G8) summit.

The ministers are to discuss issues relating to terrorism and organized crime during their three-day talks, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported.

Parking restrictions, road closures and alterations to bus and tram timetables will be implemented during the event.

Police have given the go-ahead for a limited protest as ministers gather for a civic reception on Wednesday evening, the report said. Enditem
