Israel to pull out even without Palestinian coordination
www.chinaview.cn 2005-06-11 21:46:42

Beijing, June 11 -- An unnamed Israeli official says Israel will implement the unilateral pullout plan, even without coordination from the Palestinian side.

According to Israel radio, the official said the Israeli side has made it clear that if Palestinian militants raid Israeli targets during the pullout, Israel will carry out large-scale military actions in the Palestinian territory in Gaza.

The official added that Israel has rejected the Palestinian proposal to dispatch Palestinian West Bank armed police to maintain security in Gaza during the withdrawal.

According to the Israeli unilateral pullout plan, Israel will start evacuating from all 21 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip and 4 settlements in the north part of West Bank.
