GAZA, June 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Two workers were killed and five others wounded Tuesday in a mortar shell attack on a Jewish settlement in southern Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported.
The radio quoted an Israeli army spokesman as saying that a huge explosion was heard near one of the greenhouses in the settlement of Gani Tal, west of the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis.
One of the workers killed was a Palestinian and the other a foreigner, most likely from Thailand, the spokesman said. Enditem |
