KABUL, June 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Two persons were killed and five injured in a controlled bomb attack in Afghan south province of Helmand on Wednesday noon.
The news was confirmed by the chairman of Mine Detection Dog Center (MDC), a demining organization. "Two of our personnel were killed and five injured at about 12:30 p.m. in a roadside bomb explosion when they passed by Lashkargah, provincial capital of Helmand," Shahab Hakimi told Xinhua.
The remote-controlled bomb was carried by a bicycle on the roadside, and the explosion happened when the car with several persons from MDC passed by, Hakimi added.
