BEIJING, June 1 -- Asian pop singer Jay Chow's girlfriend, Taiwanese TV hostess Patty Hou, was planned to arrive in Beijing with her new book "Petty's About Love" on June 5, but the trip might be postponed.

News reports from Taiwan said that Hou had made the decision because books in simplified Chinese characters did not meet her standards.

The hostess would reschedule her trip after printing problems had been resolved.

Hou's "Petty's About Love" was released in Taiwan in March, soon after her private relationship with the star singer was put in the spotlight by Taiwan paparazzi.

Over 150,000 copies have been sold since then.

The Taiwanese beauty is hoping that her mainland trip will open a bigger market for her maiden work.

The most talked-about chapter in the book is an interview with Chow made by the hostess.

It was the interview that aroused the Taiwanese media's interest in the two's relationship.

Chow offered his most honest confessions about his personal love stories and views on love in the interview.

Not only did he recall details about his first love, Chow also revealed his tricks for chasing girls.

It was very rare for the singer to respond so frankly in an interview.
