PARIS, May 30 (Xinhuanet) -- French President Jacques
Chirac will announce Tuesday "his decisions concerning the government" before
making a televised address to the nation, his office said Monday.
Chirac's office also confirmed that Chirac had met with Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin on Monday morning,
after the French voters rejected the European Union (EU) constitution treaty.
He also talked with the president of his party, Union
for a Popular Movement, Nicolas Sarkozy, Union for French Democracy chief
Francois Bayrou, as well as Interior Minister Dominique de Villepin, Defense
Minister Michele Alliot-Marie, Health Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy and Social
Affairs Minister Jean-Louis Borloo.
After meeting with the French president early Monday,
Raffarin said there would be "developments" on Monday or Tuesday. Enditem
