Beijing opens museums free to public

    BEIJING, May 19 -- Beijing has opened 30 museums free to the public today in recognition of International Museum Day. The museums include the Capital Museum, Ancient Bells Museum of the Grand Bell Temple, the Beijing Ancient Coins Exhibition Hall and many others.

    19 museums like China Millennium Monument, the National Museum and the Beijing Natural Museum have discounts for visitors.

    Moreover, the Beijing Cultural Relics Bureau has invited experts to help citizens authenticate cultural relics at the Beijing Ancient Structures Museum.
