BEIJING, May 13 -- Writers from all 19 countries and regions around the world are descending on east China's Zhejiang Province next week for a special tour.

The 29 famous writers, from countries including the U.S., Russia, France, Germany and Romania, will spend five days in the province visiting various sights. They are hoping this tour will provide material for future books about China.

They were invited by the Zhejiang Writers Association. Accompanied by Chinese authors including Wang Meng and Chen Jiangong, they will visit 80 venues covering 20 cities and towns across the province.

The trip lasts from May 19 to 24.
