HANGZHOU, May 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is to hold a seminar on textile trading on May 25 in Ningbo,east China's Zhejiang Province.

    Highlighting cooperation and collective advantages, the seminar will stress APEC's cooperative mechanism and the legal framework of the World Trade Organization and promote the role various economic entities play in textile and garment trade within APEC.

    The seminar, jointly sponsored by APEC and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, is also expected to help Chinese textile exporters search for ways to settle disputes with the European Union, the United States and other economies following the lifting of the global textile quota system.
