Canadian government not to resign despite losing censure vote

    OTTAWA, May 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Canada's minority Liberal governmentsaid on Tuesday it had no intention to resign despite losing a censure vote in Parliament.

    Opposition parties said they regarded the motion as a matter ofconfidence but government officials had made it clear from the start that they disagreed. Enditem
