JAKARTA, May 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited his predecessor, long serving president Soeharto at the Pertamina Hospital here Tuesday afternoon amid public question if the government will reopen Soeharto's graft case.
Susilo was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi and presidential spokesman Andi Mallarangeng, according to media reports.
Soeharto was sent to hospital Sunday for intestinal bleeding.
The 83-year-old man ruled Indonesia for 32 years but was forced to resign in nationwide pro-democracy protests in 1998. He was charged with corruption but the Jakarta court ruled in 2000 that Soeharto was medically unfit for trial. Enditem
