Czech, US soldiers hold joint concert

     PRAGUE, May 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Czech and US military musicians contributed Monday to the 60th anniversary of victory and liberation of Czechoslovakia by a concert in Prague's Rudolfinum concert hall.

    Great brass bands played symphonic works by Czech and Russian classical music composers as well as American swing.

    The music was played by the Central Music of the Army of the Czech Republic and the US army musical band in Europe, the 76th Army Band.

    The concert was a joined event of the Czech general staff and the US embassy.

    Thirteen members of the Czech army was awarded the Premysl Otakar II Honorary Medals in Monday evening. Enditem
