    SHANGHAI, May 8 (Xinhuanet) -- The visiting Chairman of the People First Party (PFP) in Taiwan James CY Soong left Shanghai for Changsha, the fourth leg on his nine-day mainland tour in central China's Hunan Province, at around 3:40 p.m. Sunday.

    Deputy Secretary Luo Shiqian of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and other officials saw him off at the airport.

    During his stay in Shanghai, Soong met with local senior officials and President Wang Daohan of the mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits. He also held talks with Taiwan businessmen in this metropolis and delivered a speech.

    Soong and his delegation made this trip at the invitation of CPC Central Committee and its General Secretary Hu Jintao. Soong first arrived at Xi'an on the afternoon of May 5 and then Nanjing,capital of east China's Jiangsu Province. Enditem
