At least 19 killed in two attacks in Baghdad

    BAGHDAD, May 5 (Xinhuanet) -- At least 19 people were killed in two separate attacks early Thursday in Baghdad, including a suicide one on an army recruitment center, police said.

    At least 11 people were killed and eight others wounded in a suicide bombing attack on an Iraqi army recruitment center in western Baghdad. A man blew himself inside the center around 8 a.m.(0400 GMT).

    The center is located near the main train station in the Iraqi capital.

    Meanwhile, eight Iraqi policemen were shot dead by armed insurgents who ambushed a convoy of police cars, police said. Enditem
