No plan on restarting uranium enrichment: Iran
www.chinaview.cn 2005-05-03 14:53:33

BEIJING, May 3 --A senior Iran official says Tehran has no plan of resuming uranium enrichment.

Iran made the statement in response to German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer's warning on its nuclear program.

The official says the country will continue to push for the nuclear negotiation with Europe.

Joschka Fischer warned as a UN non-proliferation conference began on Monday that stopping the uranium enrichment is the foundation for the negotiation, and any attempt to resume the activity will lead to the breaking down of talks.

Last November, Iran temporarily suspended all uranium enrichment related activates. Enditem
