BEIJING, May 2 --Egyptian police have arrested around 200 people after a series of terrorist attacks on foreign visitors in Cairo.

They were arrested from villages in the Shubra al-Khaimah region, northeast of Cairo, where the three people involved in Saturday's attacks were from.

On Saturday, two terrorist attacks hit Cairo, leaving three people dead and another 9 injured, including four foreigners.

Two militant groups, the Mujahedeen of Egypt and the Abdullah Azzam Brigades, have posted statements on the Internet claiming responsibility for the attacks.
