SEOUL, April 26 (Xinhuanet)-- A senior US diplomat handling the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsular left Seoul for Beijing on Tuesday for further talks on the issue, according to Yonhap.

Beijing is the second stop of Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill's trip that will also take him to Japan on Wednesday and back to Seoul on Thursday, it said.

On Monday, Hill met his South Korean counterpart, Deputy Foreign Minister Song Min-soon, and said they agreed on the "best tactics" to resolve the issue. No further details were available.
