Iran terms Israel as threat of regional peace
www.chinaview.cn 2005-04-25 09:13:21

BEIJING, April 25 -- Iran has accused Israel as a threat of regional and international peace and security, calling to refer the Israeli case to the UN Security Council.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi made the remarks on Sunday at weekly news briefing.

Supporting the Palestinians, Iran refuses to recognize the Israeli state and has termed the Israeli government as enemy of the whole Islamic world.

Israel, following the United States, has accused Iran of developing nuclear weapons and threatened to launch preemptive attacks upon its nuclear facilities.
