JAKARTA, April 21 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in the
Indonesian capital of Jakarta on Thursday for a state visit, and to attend an
Asian-African summit.
Hu Jintao flew in from Brunei, where he just concluded a state visit.
In Indonesia, Hu will attend the Asian-African Summit 2005 scheduled for
Friday and Saturday in Jakarta, and participate in the golden jubilee
commemoration of the Asian African Conference 1955 in Bandung on Sunday.
During his state visit, Hu will hold talks with Indonesian leaders on the
further promotion of bilateral cooperation.
On April 26, the Chinese president will leave for the
Philippines to continue his three-nation Southeast Asia tour. Enditem |
