priorities as exposing the truth behind the killing of former Prime Minister
Rafik al-Hariri, speeding up the release of an electoral law, holding
parliamentary elections on time and reviving the Lebanese economy.
At Wednesday's meeting, the Cabinet decided to form a
committee charged with writing the body's policy statement to win the
Parliament's confidence.
The designated Education and Culture Minister Ghassan
Salamah declined the appointment, saying it would interfere with his teaching at
the Sorbonne University in Paris.
