ĦĦBEIJING, April 20 -- Hong Kong actress and singer Kelly Chen has become a goodwill ambassador to promote South Korea's tourist industry.

    The Korea National Tourism Organization announced this decision on Monday at a ceremony called "Night of Taejanggum, held at a hotel in Hong Kong. Taejanggum is the name of a Korean television drama that is enjoying rising popularity all over Southeast Asia.

    Korean actresses Yo Un-gye and Cho Chong-un, who star in the drama, and Hong Hong TV star Bowie Lam also attended the promotional event.
