BAGHDAD, April 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Iraqi security forces
Tuesday captured a senior official of Saddam Hussein's Baath Party, who believed
to have organized and funded insurgent attacks on the US-Iraqi security forces.

the former leader of the Military Bureau in Baghdad during the Saddam Hussein
regime, was apprehended by security forces in a military operation at a farm
located northeast of Baghdad, announced a government statement.
