BEIJING, April 12 -- Iran is to promote its tourist potential on America's CNN and Britain's BBC networks.

    Iranian tourism officials say that tense relations between Tehran and Washington will not stop Iran from promoting its attractions on the US cable network..

    Both the BBC and CNN advertising campaigns are expected to start within two months under a one-year contract.

    Global network campaigns will be followed by ads on local channels in 20 countries in the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
