S. Korean slams Tokyo's history distortion
www.chinaview.cn 2005-04-12 08:30:11

BEIJING, April 12 -- A South Korean radio has accused Japan of raising concern in Northeast Asia by glossing over its history of aggression.

The Korean Broadcasting System attributed Asian countries' mounting dissatisfaction with Tokyo to its distortion of Japan's wartime past, which also helps trigger territorial disputes between Japan and its neighbors.

It also urged Japan to be more accountable as a major economy in the world.
