Urgent: Bush urges Sharon not to expand settlement in West Bank

    WASHINGTON, April 11 (Xinhuanet) -- President George W. Bush said on Monday that he urged visiting Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon not to expand a key Jewish settlement in the West Bank.

    "I told the prime minister not to undertake any activity that contravenes the road map or prejudices final status obligations," Bush told the media after he held talks with Sharon at his Texas ranch. Enditem
