   BANGKOK, April 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Two people were killed and some 30 others injured Sunday night in a string of explosions in Thailand southern Songkhla province, said local TV report.

    The three blasts at an airport, a hotel and a supermarket in Hat Yai occurred at about 8:30 p.m. local time, which led to the death of at least two people and the injury of 30 others.

    The bomb which went off at Hat Yai airport killed one people waiting at the airport lounge.

    Police said one of the bomb hidden inside a dustbin of the supermarket was detonated by remote control. The blast outside a hotel was triggered by a bomb placed under a motorcycle.

    Two other explosive devices were also detected in Hat Yai by local police.

    Mobile phone signal in the province has been temporary cut off to prevent more attacks. Meanwhile, two flights from Hat Yai to Bangkok were called off in a bid to ensure the safety of passengers.

    More than 700 people have died in the Muslim-dominated southernThailand since violence was flared up in January last year. The government blamed separatist activities as the root for the unabated violence. Enditem
