BEIJING, Apr. 2 -- Fans across Asia are gathering to
remember the late Hong Kong singer and actor Leslie Cheung on the April Fool's
Day.
On the Chinese mainland, Leslie Cheung's last film
"Inner Sense" is being screened on April 1, the second anniversary of his death.
In Hong Kong thousands of heavy-hearted fans paid
tribute at Leslie Cheung's grave, and a remembrance ceremony for the city's
megastar will be held Sunday. Fans also visited his waxwork at the Madame
Tussauds Gallery which was unveiled last year.
Two years ago, Leslie Cheung killed himself by
leaping off a balcony on the 24th floor of the Central district's Mandarin
Oriental hotel. He was 46. The reason for his suicide is unknown.
