ISLAMABAD, April 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri Friday said both Pakistan and India should show flexibility to resolve the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir according to the aspirations of Kashmiris, the official news agency Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

Talking to senior journalists and editors here at a luncheon at the Foreign Office, the minister said Pakistan's stand on Kashmir remains unchanged and underscored the need for reciprocal flexibility.

Kasuri said Pakistan is committed to the on-going peace process with India and hoped that it would lead to resolution of the Kashmir issue to ensure peace in the region.

Replying to a question about the absence of Indian Foreign Minister Natwar Singh from the 4th Asian Cooperation Development conference being held in Islamabad, he said due to his preoccupation Singh is not attending it.

Regarding to the twice postponed SAARC summit, Kasuri said all member states including India have agreed to the convening of the summit but dates have to be finalized.
