UNITED NATIONS, March 29 (Xinhuanet) -- UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said here Tuesday that he would not resign as head of the United Nations and pledged continued efforts to carry out the reform of the world body.
"I have lots of work to do and I am going to go ahead and do it," Annan told a press conference after the release of a report into the corruption charge of UN's oil-for-food program in Iraq.
Asked directly if he would resign, Annan said categorically: "No." Enditem
