BEIJING, Mar. 28 -- Legendary director Steven Spielberg was praised recently by famous Hollywood star Tom Cruise for his ability to always know exactly what he needs from his actors and for never wasting a second on set.

    Cruise, who teamed up with Spielberg for Minority Report and the upcoming War of the Worlds remake, was surprised by the filmmaker's economic approach to his craft.

    ¡°Steven just is fast,¡± said Cruise to British magazine Hotdog. ¡°Some people might thing, ¡®Well, I need to take a lot of time to figure this out,¡¯ but no, not with Steven.
