Elva ties knot with Warner Records

    BEIJING, Mar. 25 -- Taiwan pop singer Elva Xiao(ΟτΡΗΠω) has left Viking Record company and signed with the US giant Warner Records to start a brand-new singing career.

    Her move was announced at a press conference on Thursday in Taiwan.

    Warner's Chief Executive Officer in Asia, Lachie Rutherford, told the press that Warner is preparing for the release of Elva's first album under their management.

    Also attending the press conference were the company's regional managers from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan who all expressed their best wishes to Elva.

    Elva Hsiao, or Xiao Ya-xuan in Mandarin is renowned for her powerful voice and is also a talented dancer and lyric writer.
