Hong Kong's celebrated film star Maggie Cheung is the only Asian star to appear on a list of the most popular actors and actresses, published by French magazine Studio.

    BEIJING, March. 24 -- Hong Kong's celebrated film star Maggie Cheung is the only Asian star to appear on a list of the most popular actors and actresses, published by French magazine Studio.

    Cheung ranked fifth on the list of most popluar overseas actressess, which was headed by Scarlett Johansson from 'Lost in Translation', who replaced Uma Thurman at number one.

    Audrey Tautou topped the list of favorite domestic actresses for the second time after the release of her film, A Very Long Engagament, closely followed by Isabelle Carre.

    Benoit Poelvoorde, the start of "Podium" won the title of favorite domestic actor.
