Urgent: Annan urges member states to adopt package of UN reforms

    UNITED NATIONS, March 21 (Xinhuanet) -- UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said Monday that the aims of the Millennium Declaration can be achieved only if the member states are willing to adopt a package of "specific, concrete decisions" in 2005.

    Annan made the remarks when he addressed the General Assembly to introduce his report "In Larger Freedom", which outlines actions to be taken to realize the goals of the Declaration. Enditem
