www.chinaview.cn 2005-03-17 14:57:04

BEIJING, Mar. 17 -- The Indian TV series "Conspiracy and Wedding" has hit Chinese TV.

It is the first Indian TV series to be introduced to Chinese audiences, courtesy of Canton Song Zhu-mei Culture Audio & Vidio Co., and has received high audience ratings in many Chinese provinces.

"Conspiracy and Wedding" breaks through the stereotype of Bollywood song and dance, although audiences can still sense a strong Indian influence.

The story line mainly revolves around a series of plots to steal a huge heritage, with many Indian super stars taking prominent roles.

The TV drama will soon be broadcasted nationwide.
