HAVANA, March 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Cuba, Guyana and Saint Lucia has expressed support for China's adoption of the Anti-Secession Law to prevent the secession of Taiwan from China.
The government of Guyana said in a statement the Anti-Secession Law is a law to achieve China's peaceful reunification and to maintain peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits and of the Asia-Pacific region.
Saint Lucia Prime Minister Kenny Anthony said his country understands China's efforts in achieving peaceful reunification and stands for the passage of the law.
He said Saint Lucia will firmly stick to the one-China policy and he believed China can achieve national reunification.
Cuba's National Assembly of People's Power (parliament) fully supports China's adoption of the Anti-Secession Law and Taiwan should not be allowed to secede from China, president of the parliament's international relations committee has said. Enditem |
