NEW DELHI, March 16 (Xinhuanet) -- US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice left here Wednesday for Pakistan after an 18-hour visit to India, Indo-Asian News Service reported.

    Rice, who arrived in New Delhi Tuesday night on the first leg of a six-nation tour that will also take her to Afghanistan, China, Japan and South Korea, met Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and held talks with Indian External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh.

    She also met Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition L. K. Advani. Enditem
