Condoleezza Rice visit to India advanced by a day

    NEW DELHI, March 13 (Xinhuanet) -- US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's visit to India has been advanced by a day and she will arrive here Tuesday, Indo-Asian News Service reported.

    Rice, who was to arrive Wednesday and leave Thursday, will reach Delhi Tuesday and leave Wednesday, diplomatic sources said.

    During the visit, she will hold talks with Indian External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh, who will host a lunch in her honor at which some key economic ministers will be present.

    She is also scheduled to call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh before leaving for Islamabad. Enditem
