Overseas Chinese, foreign media hail Anti-Secession Law
www.chinaview.cn 2005-03-13 13:57:28

BEIJING, Mar. 13 -- Overseas Chinese and foreign media have voiced their firm support for formulation of the Anti-Secession Law, enacted by the National People's Congress.

Thailand-China Friendship Association has published an article, noting that the Anti-Secession Law aims at curbing the pro-independence forces and is by no means a so-called "war mobilization order".

Thai-Chinese Culture & Economy Association says that enacting the Anti-Secession law is necessary and proper.
Councils for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China in Western Africa and Czech, also voice their firm support to the Anti-Secession Law.

The chief editor of a Chinese-language newspaper in Thailand says that the law will help maintain peace and stability in Taiwan.

In an editorial from Malaysian newspaper Nanyang Siang Pau, it says that the Anti-Secession Law demonstrates Chinese government's determination to seek reunification with Taiwan.
