GAZA, March 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas said Thursday that a ceasefire agreement is expected to be reached among different factions in the Cairo dialogue due on next Tuesday.

"Cairo dialogue will be crowned by an agreement as a result of previous intensive efforts. This agreement will be declared at the meeting, and I will attend it," Abbas told a news conference in Gaza.

The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) and representatives of various factions, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, would attend the Egypt-sponsored talks.

"The meeting will be a conclusion of the dialogue we have been holding over the last four years," Abbas said, adding "until now, there are no fundamental differences." Enditem
