LIMA, March 9 (Xinhuanet) -- The political crisis in Bolivia entered Wednesday a decisive phase with the creation of an alliance between the opposition and the most important national trade unions to face the coalition formed by ratified President Carlos Mesa.
Principal opposition leader Evo Morales announced that the opposition will intensify the protests against Mesa through the support of the biggest trade unions of the country, who faces a long and deep social and political turmoil, according to information from the administrative capital of Bolivia, La Paz.
The new alliance had been anticipated Tuesday by Morales himself when the Congress rejected the resignation of Mesa and theratified head of State announced a coalition with the traditional political parties to cope with the opposition, which keeps to erect roadblocks and stage demonstrations in several cities.
Mesa's adversaries have different claims, from regional autonomy to changes in the governmental policies. Enditem
