NPC, CPPCC agenda for March 9

     BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Wednesday's major agenda for the third sessions of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC) and ofthe 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) are as follows:

    

    NPC

    -- Chairman Wu Bangguo to make a work report of the NPC Standing Committee in the morning;

    -- Chief Justice Xiao Yang to make a work report of the Supreme People's Court in the morning;

    -- Procurator-General Jia Chuanwang to make a work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate in the morning;

    -- Deputies to deliberate Wu's work report in the afternoon; and

    -- The Finance Ministry and State Administration of Taxation togive a press conference in the afternoon.

    

    CPPCC

    -- Members to hear as observes the three work reports by Wu Bangguo, Xiao Yang and Jia Chunwang; and

    -- The third session of the 10th CPPCC to hold third plenary session.
