BEIJING, March 8 (Xinhuanet) -- Zhang Qiyue, former Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, has been officially named ambassador to
the Kingdom of Belgium.
She is one of the seven new ambassadors approved
by China's parliament, the National People's Congress Standing Committee on
Tuseday.
Following is the list of the appointments:
Lan Lijun was appointed the ambassador to the
Republic of Indonesia, replacing Lu Shumin.
Lu Shumin was appointed the ambassador to Canada,
replacing MeiPing.
Yang Yanyi (female) was appointed the ambassador to
the Brunei Darussalam, replacing Wei Wei.
Li Jianying was appointed the ambassador to the State
of Qatar,replacing Zhao Huimin.
Yang Xiuping (female) was appointed the ambassador to
the Republic of Lithuania, replacing Chen Yuming.
Zhang Qiyue (female) was appointed the ambassador to
the Kingdom of Belgium, replacing Guan Chengyuan.
Dong Jinyi was appointed the ambassador to the
Republic of Italy and concurrently ambassador to the Republic of San Marino,
