吃请 chī qǐng

1.别人请自己吃饭。to be invited to a dinner

例： 你自己吃吧， 我今晚去吃请。
Go ahead and have supper yourself. I've been invited to a dinner tonight.

2.用公款请客。to treat sb. to a meal at public expense

例： 他总找借口带他的朋友们去吃请。
He always find an excuse to take out his friends for dinner at public expense.
