    -- The presidium and secretary-general to be elected at the preparatory meeting opening in the morning;

    -- The first meeting of the presidium to be held in the morning;and

    -- A press conference to be given by the session's spokesman inthe morning.

    CPPCC

    -- CPPCC members to hold panel discussions about the report on the work of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and the report on the handling of the members' proposals and suggestions over the past year. Enditem
