BEIJING,
Mar. 4 -- Former Bond girl Denise Richards has shocked Hollywood by filing
for divorce from her husband Charlie Sheen, while pregnant with the couple's
second child.
The
actress' agent, Chuck James, confirmed the breakup but did not elaborate. "Out
of respect for all the parties, this is a private matter," Jones said. In court
documents, Richards cites "irreconcilable differences," according
to AP.
Richards is
seeking full custody of the children, and has asked Sheen be granted visitation
rights, reports said.
In the
legal papers, filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Richards also demands
"miscellaneous jewellry and other personal effects," as well as "earnings and
accumulations of Petitioner from and after the date of separation".
The divorce comes completely out of the blue for the
couple, who seemed to be perfectly happy when they were recently interviewed
about their new baby news.
Richards, 34, and Sheen, 39, married in June 2002 and
co-starred in "Scary Movie 3."
Sheen, who now stars in the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half
Men," is best known for his work in the movies "Platoon," "Ferris Bueller's Day
Off" and "Hot Shots."
Richards, a former Bond girl, has appeared in a host
of movies, including "Wild Things" and "Starship Troopers."
